This film represents my attempt at working with the Super 8 camera and hand processing film.
For this experiment, I chose to create a biographical portrait of my father, Dr. Pierre Fassié.
My father  works as a highschool French and Spanish teacher in Roanoke, Virginia.
Over several months, I filmed him and conducted a series of lengthy interviews.

During the interviews a vast array of topics were discussed including: my father's childhood and adolescent memories
from Algeria and France, his coming to America and subsequent teaching career, and his various hobbies and passions.
The film was completed during an independent study with VCU professor, Sonali Gulati, in the fall of 2006.
